Safeguarding/Child Protection

At Coppice Primary Academy, we recognise our moral and statutory responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all students.

We endeavour to provide a safe and welcoming environment where children are respected and valued. We are alert to the signs of abuse and neglect and follow our procedures to ensure students receive effective support, protection, and justice.

In line with government requirements, Coppice maintains a central list of checks on appointed staff and adults who work in or visit the Academy. Any volunteer or parent working in the Academy are subject to full background checks. The Academy has an agreed Child Protection Policy.
