Attendance

At Coppice we believe that every child can reach their potential and we will
always support and guide them to achieve this.

The expected attendance level for a pupil of his/her age is 96% and when
children are absent or late, gaps appear in their education and prevent them
from reaching their full potential.

Evidence shows that pupils who performed better in tests had above 95% than those who had below.
You may believe that being absent from  school occasionally sometimes is ok,
but these days soon add up. 

Punctuality

If your child is late they have a bad start to the day.
• They can disrupt and miss out on the beginning of the lesson.
• They don’t have time to settle down and they miss the social time with
their friends
• It can be embarrassing for them.
