Good attendance is vital if your child is to achieve and make good progress. If you want the best for your child you need to make sure that they attend school every day and arrive at school on time.

We monitor attendance daily. Term time holidays are rarely authorised and could result in fines being issued or your child being taken off roll.

Parents/carers have a duty to ensure attendance on every school day.

Pupils should only be kept off school because of illness.

Parents/carers must inform school of the reason for any absence before 10am on the first day of absence. This can be by telephone or in person at the office.

If you do not contact school, we will contact you for an explanation. If we cannot make contact we will send you a letter or make a home visit to try and find out the reason why your child was not at school.

School starts at 8:55 am and ends at 3:15pm. Your child should arrive on the playground in time to line up with his/her class. Children can enter school from 8:15am if they attend breakfast club or from 8:30am if they are coming in for extra reading.

If your child is late, they should go to the main office where they will be asked to sign in.
